My obsession with photography was borne from a desperation to preserve moments of clarity in an ever-changing childhood and a desire to participate in the medium that delivered sights from the world beyond my small hometown in the Deep South. I still make photos for these two reasons—preservation and amplification. Today I am inspired by those who challenge tradition and moved by the next flight to the city.
Most recently, I served as a regular contributor to The Voice-Tribune in Louisville. My work has been featured by NYLON, She Shreds Magazine, National Geographic, UPS Wishes Delivered, and Black & White Magazine.
